Hey Guys

Ive noticed that camel space has got a reverb section and it seems to be a very low power drainer

lets say i use around 5 to at the very most 10 camelspaces a track..

would i be more cpu efficient using arts acoustic reverb, roomworks or camelspace

wel its obviusly not roomworks, i love the sound of roomworks but its very heavy, lovely plate sounds though.

Nice to hear what u think :)

Yes - the reverb in CamelSpace is pretty efficient. This is because the underlying processing is less complex than in a reverb like the Arts Acoustic one. This gives it a different sound, which in some cases is just what you want, and in other cases another reverb might get you the sound you're after.

In terms of the relative CPU efficiency of different reverbs, there is no substitute for trying it on your machine and comparing the relative CPU usage. Even if someone else can give you figures, it will vary from machine to machine, depending on what type of processor etc you have In terms of what reverb you pick, its basically an artistic choice, and I don't think I can answer for you. I'd tend to use CamelSpace on all sorts, but might use a different one for the Vocal, unless you are putting lots of effects on it - still as always, if it sounds right, it is right!
