watching now... very cool, sweet info..

Post

hell yeah! i'll have to make aggie watch that.

Interesting, though I missed the part how the original "Amen" was created however. Sure theydidn't have 808's or 909's. And for an acoustic set, it's a bit "too digital".

that guy has the most boring voice ever...

It is a 100% genuine kit recorded to tape and etched to acetate. It's a shame when people are so used to listening to eletronic manipulations they can't even recognize actual instruments.

It's over here, called Bassline Baseline.

The 303 one is soporific in the extreme, i couldn't watch the whole of the 'amen' one either. That voice.......is it even a voice? It's more like a hmnhmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnmhnmnmnhmnmnmhnmnmnmnmnmhmnnnhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sounding tone.

Yeah, well, you'll never see him do one on diphthong's, that's for sure. ;)

Most famous drumloop is from James Browns 'Funky Drummer' song IMO :)
