How to get the real CM SpinEQ

I have 2 CM magazines with the demo of SpinEQ. I emailed spin audio and they said I have to give them a reference which would be around page 90 for them to email me the serial and real version. I looked in both of them and could not find anything. Any suggestions?

I thought it was only a demo. I was really dissapointed because it doesn't actually say so on the magazine. So if you can get a full version the I would really be interested in this as well.

EDIT ; a lot of sunshine made me say things that are not precisely accurate
This is the more accurate version:
The SpinEQ was on a magazine 78 oct 2004, containing a code on page 118.
Upon emailing this code, you were given a link to the full working version of SpinEQ CM. SpinEQ CM is a bit more limited then Spin EQ, 4 bands, instead of 10.

The issue of the Computermusic with the Spin-EQ - upgrade-info was 78. On page 90 you found a review of the Clavia Nord Modular G2 engine though
. Somewhere in this mag was the code you had to write to the SpinEQ - guys so they gave you what you wanted. I like the CM-version of the SpinEQ. Maybe you can get hold of mag 78 {backissues@futurenet.co.uk was the address, if I remember right) or simply write to the mag-people themselves. They are user-friendly and maybe there would be a way for you to get the plugin even though the old mag is sold out?

Iv been through this befor and given up on it. I did E-mail Spin, and nothing came of it, and I did say something on the CM mag forum, and nothing came of it?

What the problems is this plugin has been included on the CM mag ever since as the "real thing". Some poeple might buy that mag for that one plugin - its false advertising and fraud.
Somebody should payup - iether Spin or CM mag.

Yes, something like that. And that is not the problem, a one-off freeby. The SpinEQ was on a magazine 78 oct 2004, containing a code on page 118.

There was also an issue of installing the version found in issue 78 of CM magazine. The warning- don't do it. Some people found their entire VST folders wiped out by the installer.
The problem was apparently fixed, a little late for some, but the idea is you have to download the right version from somewhere.
Lots of great free EQs, I'd skip this one.

The CM version on the mag, is a demo, I think it emits noise or it stops preccesing every second or so.morelia wrote:http://www.spinaudio.com/cgi-bin/redire ... 10Demo.zip

One used to be able to download the 'proper' version from spinaudios (I think?) site.
Can't really remember - it's been a while, but it's a different file completely 'SpinEQCMPC10.zip'.
It needs the serial number, which was emailed I believe after registering using the code from the cm magazine.
I like the eq, for simple, minimal cuts & it uses even less cpu than live's native eq.

WHY IS IT INCLUDED AS A FULL APPLICATION IN THE MAGAZINE IF IT IS ONLY A DEMO????
The EQ was the whole reason I bought my first copy of CM in October last year. There was a limitation to it so I deleted the damn thing. And NOWHERE in the magazine does it say anything about being able to send in a code or whatever. I was pretty pissed of because the damn magazine here cost me $22. Is it only for that particular issue or WTF....

On mag 78:
It's limitation is 4 bands instead of 10. No time outs, no limited to a few weeks, no nothing; completely functional.
I suggest you contact CM or SpinAudio and ask if it's a demo only, or a full version which is part of the 'CM Studio'.
