Currently what would you recommend?
Loads of double bass and plenty of cymbal work. Well, I don't have to explain the genre.

There are SO many options now, I don't know where to start. People have said great things about the DFH custom & vintage kits: how are they different from the original DFH Superior? Are they suitable for Grindcore/death metal?

Can BFD cope well with authentic double bass-drumming?

I always thought the original DKFH samples are still the best. Although I havent tried the custom or vintage kits. I also have Groove Agent and it has a Grind drumset, which is pretty damn good.. BUt any of these sets listed will certainly have some kits that are geared for Grind and Death metal,, You certainly have the options with these kits to EQ and make them sound however you want,, but as I said I play in Death metal/Grind bands, and I still think the original DKFH is the best.

I've got the original DFH and have never liked it that much. It was good at the time but is rather limited compared to what's available now, plus it takes a lot of setting up.

DFH2 seems to have disappeared. Replaced by EZdrummer?

Grindcore drum library?
