Modestly Priced EQ?

What would be a good sounding EQ for about $20-40$? Free would be even better. Not looking for anyting special, just low shelf and high shelf etc.., good sound, on a budget!

I'd say go with posifhopit also.
For that price you're not likely to get anything better, for twice that price whatever you get will likely only be on a par with posi.

You need to buy the Waves Diamond bundle, or preferably a hardware unit made by Focusrite or Manley, something pricy, because you get what you pay for, and the big boys all use hardware, and.....

Not only can you draw the curve, it'll adapt itself to the source material automatically. The only problems I have with this plugin is that it's easy to mess up your settings, and it crashes on me sometimes. But really, for free, come on! This thing is sick.

I'm not an expert, but i don't know why you want to put price in a eQ when free ones are excellent (at least to my ear).
Nyquist is fine,
