I've been working on a song all day with no problems. I shut the computer down and now when I try to open sx-3 up, it goes as far as trying to load all the instruments then shuts itself down.
I rebooted a bunch of times and still the same thing. it starts off trying to load the multimedia thing instead of my fireface 800 which always means somethings wrong.
I'm using sx-3 3.1.1.944, latest drivers for my gforce mx 4000 video cards, latest drivers for my fireface 800, windows xp, dual 2.2 amd processors, 3 gb ram. I'm hoping I don't have to reinstall. What a headache. Any help would be appreciated.

oh, that sucks. Have you installed anything new lately? If so, uninstall that. Try removing your plugins from your VST plugins folder or renaming the folder. 9 times out of 10 it's a plugin.

You definitely have a bad plug-in. Try copying your plugins to a different folder and then adding one at a time back into your VST foler. Launch Cubase after each plugin you load back into the folder.

Thanks guys.As luck would have it,or sometimes not, I tried to boot up sx-3 one more time before uninstalling it and it worked!
I have a feeling it's my new svx bass amp plugin. It's been giving me a herd time from day one only loading 1/2 to 3/4 of the gui. Never figured out why.
