Logic, Sonar, Samplitude keycommands problem

Hi all,
This is my first post here. In the Logic forum I couldnot get an answer to my problem. I hope anybody here can help me.
I'm a Logic 5 5 1 user on Windows PC. Happy, but I like to try Samplitude or Sonar 5 for the future.
So I try to make in Samplitude/Sonar new keycommands about the same as in Logic (as far as possible).
The problem is: When I try to enter a key combination in the textbox, just before I do it:
"Scroll Lock"-key enters the field. If I am very fast I finally succeed, but I only got half a second to do it. Most of the time I have to do it several times.
Also this happens in Logic (put the learn key on, enter the keycommand before scroll lock comes into it, fastly learn key off). Same in Sonar and Samplitude. Only on my studiocomputer, not at home. Any ideas?

I think I might have an ideia. Windows has a functionality that when you press shift or some other function keys 5 times in a row in activates "sticky keys" is this helpful?

Did you already try using the Logic keyboard mapping that ship with SONAR? You can import it from the Key bindings menu (along with mappings based on other DAWs).EdHart wrote:I'm a Logic 5 5 1 user on Windows PC. Happy, but I like to try Samplitude or Sonar 5 for the future.

Yes I tried the Logic keyboard mapping that ship with SONAR. Those keycommands (bindings) work fine, but I want to make some new ones.(Of course it's no Sonar problem, because it also happens in Logic and samplitude).
I also tried Pedro's suggestion with the "sticky keys". Contolpanel/Accessibility Options. But I see no strange adjustments there. (I unchecked all of them)

weird if things don't change even with a different keyboard.
I would venture to guess you might have some keyboard/mouse scripting and binding shortcut application installed? If not you might have either a spyware or a virus breach.
Hope you find a fix.

I have not installed a script, I did a virus scan. My studiocomputer has no internet connection.Kingston wrote: I would venture to guess you might have some keyboard/mouse scripting and binding shortcut application installed? If not you might have either a spyware or a virus breach.

Thanks guys, I found it!
I once installed a little program that came with my Qware keyboard. It made it possible to use the special function keys, so I could launch my programs from it.
I uninstalled it and voilá: problem solved.
To use the special keys again, I downloaded a (different type, but ok) new little program from the Qware website and this functions well now.

Good thing you fixed it.
