hey guys, just playing with the Sonar demo again and attempting to use dblue Glitch with it.
In Cubase, when I insert the plugin and create a MIDI track, I get an additional output which I can use to control the VST effect.
Is there any way to do this with Sonar ? Am I forced to use a virtual MIDI driver of some sort ?
I feel like I may have missed something. In the FAQ for Glitch, it says the make the plugin an instrument in the VST adapter settings, but when I do this, I can no longer use it as an effec in the mixer.
Could someone please explain this to me ?
thanks a lot

I don't know the effect you are using, but it sounds like me trying to use Lucifer in SOnar, which is an effect with a MIDI input.
You set it up as an instrument in the wrapper, and you can still use it as an effect by intserting it in the fx bins, with right click insert synth and just using it as an effect.
However I just noticed yesterday that in 5.02 it seems although Lucifer is configured as a synth, you can't get it to come up as an output option for the MIDI track, which you used to be able to do in 3 and 4, so it might be yet another new Sonar bug (yay!) or me being daft...
