I'm working on a Mac G5 2.5 w/Tiger 10.4.3 running Pro Tools LE Ver. 7.0.

I've just installed SampleTank 2 XL. Now when I select a sample that requires preforming a preanalysis. SampleTank starts to preform the analysis but hangs up an never finishes. I can't cancel out ST and have to save the session in PT's and close it ,to get out.

I've contacted IK Tech Support and they said try the following:
Find the St Instruments folder >Opened permissions and make sure everything is set to read and write. They said this should solve it. I tried it and it didn't work!

I emailed back Tech Support, they said, I shouldn't have to but in my case try to select Apply All Enclosed Items at the bottom of the find info window. Then go to the HD>applications>utilities>disk Utility, click on the main HD and run Repair Disk Permissions. Which I did and the same thing happens.

If you select a sample that requires preforming preanalysis , it starts ,but never finishes. It goes about 98% of the way and hangs up. IK Tech support has been great with responding to my emails, but I now put a call into Tech Support. I have a client coming in thats using this software tonight and would like to correct this problem, I don't know if they will respond by tonight, the support message said it could take 24 hours. So ,I'm hoping someone on the forum can help me.

Has anyone had this problem with the preanalysis, that can help me out or have any suggestions?

Thanks for the Help!
Tom
