Cubase Problem, My First to!

hey guys

right i come to re-open my cubase project to mix my song and the "disk" section in the vst performance windows is maxed out, unlike before and now the song just skips

my cpu usage is fine

i have a windows xp intel system with 512 meg and an esi 1010 sound card, cheers in advance peeps!!

Does your project have any freezed tracks? deleting the feeze tracks sometimes cure a lot of symptoms.
did you defragment your HD?

yeah all my vsts are frozen, i can try unfreezing some but i need them fromzen to mix really.. and yeah it was formatted the other day

Could be you're a little low an RAM. 512 should do it but i'd prefer 1 gig. Or you could get a second HD to spread the load over 2 drives instead of one.
