There is a windows utility that lets you delete old or corrupted installations. I cannot remember the name off the top of my head. But you run that, delete all known old, orphaned or corrupt installations (specifically Rhino) and then reboot. After your reboot, re-download the installer and run it. I will look for it on my computer and get you the name and possibly a d/l link.

That will work. It happened to me with another program. Make sure you are up to date on your windows files (like having dot net up to date).

reboot and try delete again
maybe your 2.04 download is corrupt - download it again

Or download the small 2.03 > 2.04 upgrade and extract it over your working installation.

and sorry to leave the question alone for few days I was working far from home.

Tick I have a new window 's installation so I think I have to re-install
Rhino 2 before and then the upgrade, or 2.4 demo with the old key?

this is what I meant with correct procedure ....

Just install the 2.04 demo and use your previous key. It'll work.
