Does anyone know if there is an option to turn off or delete all of the additional files that are creating when opening a wave file that appear in Samplitude and Magix products?

Most DAWs create a shell for the project (Samp makes a virtual project or somesuch - you can throw that away but it need to remake it each time you open a wav)
Then all of them seem to make some sort of "peak file" too, and they need to make them so you can't turn it off but you can throw them away is what I'm guessing.
I'm only slightly familiar with Samp.

THe .HDP, etc. files that Samp. generates shouldn't be deleted, but if they are, then Samplitude will just recreate them everytime you open a wav file.
There's no way to 'turn them off'.
Samp. is object oriented, so it creates extra files for the graphics, settings, etc.

The Magix User Board now has a merged Music Studio/Samplitude SE forum: http://support.magix.net/boards/magix/i ... opic=26416
I don't use SE myself, but if no one on KVR or the new forum can help and Magix hasn't responded to support e-mails, I'll do my best to get an answer.
