Hey Guys,

Decided to try bouncing all my synths from Ableton into cubase and run all my perc/fx in ableton using rewire. Now when I try to render the whole project, it renders only what comes from ableton (?!?). I checked that all channels are going to the one bus, and when it plays back I can hear all the audio tracks, but it just won't render the whole lot.

Any clues?

Cheers in advance :D

PS. I searched for the answer on here but nothing came up, if there is already a thread about this, please link away. :D

not off the top of my head, but a lame work around is to do the one set and bouce to audio. then do the other lot in cubase... bounce it. then you can start the project all over again with all the audio tracks as a result. this sounds retarted but would work.

um one other thing did you check the output on each track? as in are they set to the stero out and what not. i mean i know there is the overall buss but wasnt sure about each track.
probaly doesnt help :/ but good luck.

You can't bounce your synths like that unless you rendered the tracks in Live first and bounced the audio- Live won't let you use any VST plugins when it's a ReWire slave. So, you probably bounced empty tracks.

Thanks for replying guys :D

I rendered the 5 synth parts from ableton first, then removed them (saved it under a diff filename!) ran the remaining tracks (audio samples & ableton native instruments/fx through rewire. The track plays back perfectly yet when I go to export an audio mixdown, it seems to include only the rewire parts! Grr.. so the bit that gets me is that it plays perfectly, but when I export it doesn't include the audio tracks. Oh, also- I have not got the asio driver set to relese while in background, so it can't be that either..

Hmm ?!?!...
