Anyone know when these updates may be released?

One thing I hate about plug-ins, is that the designers take sooo long to make a new version. Such is the case with Camel Audio & their CamelSpace & CamelPhat plug-ins which I've been waiting for 5 months for their Universal Bianary versions. The website doesn't even mention that it's in production. Don't even get me started with Native Instruments, who've bumped their Universal Bianary releases date back to 2nd quarter 06.. whatever that means..!!

And re NI, 2nd quarter 06 would mean in the second quarter of 2006, ie between May and June 2006, or not...
Believe it or not audio developers are actually quite busy people and can't just drop everything to fix one issue, its all about managing the whole workload and trying to keep as many people happy as possible as opposed to one group.

Thanks for using our plugins, and I'm sorry that you've had to wait a while for the universal binary version. We have been working on it, but we have encountered various issues which have taken time to solve. With regard to it not being on our website - if you go to the support page, there is a fairly prominent box titled 'Mac Intel Versions' which says we're working on them. I can understand you feel frustrated that you don't have the plugins on intel yet (and I'm pleased that you like CamelSpace so much!), but we really are doing our best and we haven't give you any false promises in terms of missing releases. Perhaps a little of your frustration may more justly be directed at Apple, since they make it hard for developers, by changing the Audio Unit standard so frequently and generating lots of work ... anyway, we plan to release the updates in the next couple of weeks, so your waiting should soon be over. One thing I hate about plug-ins, is that the designers take sooo long to make a new version. Thanks

Yeah!!! Thanks for the reply's. I'm so excited! Sorry for the rant, I'm just tierd of transfering large audio files from my G5 to the intel-mac (for live use), when I should just be able to transfer a midi file.
Thanks again,
Andy S
