Yea... Any exceptional reverbs that are really good for vocal tracks. Payed or free is fine. I've been using the built in one with Cubase SX3 and would like to give some other ones a try to see how they work with the vocal tracks. Thanks.

Arts Acoustis reverb or CSR. There is no better at least for now.

For vocals, try the ArtsAcoustic reverb (demo avaliable) for more natural, deep reverbs and the CSR for neutral, smooth plate reverbs (demo only with Synchrosoft dongle).

IMHO, none of the freebies comes even close to those two...

That DX Verb I tried sounded pretty good on Vox. I only tried the light version but I think it sounded pretty good. The Arts Acoustic reverb sounded pretty good to but it is pretty pricey. I think I'll stay away from IK Multimedia products. I have some of their products now but if I do decide to sell one of theirs, they have unreasonably high license transfer fees.

try wizooverb 2, it's transparent like dx light but more natural sounding. It's convolution reverb and i believe to be one of the best out here.
There is a demo available to.

I would be careful with this one. Not that it isn't a good reverb, but as wizoo has been swallowed by digidesign, I don't think they will support the vst/au format furthermore. Indeed, it became a bit quiet around the w2 the last months...

Correct me, if I'm wrong...

For me, nothing's better than a nice plate... get Sir or some other convolution plugin (I use Voxengo Impulse from the AnalogFlux suite) and look around for some EMT plate verb impulses. Noisevault.com has some, I think.

I agree - the EMT plates are my goto impulse reverbs - very nice indeed.

Hmm, and I always thought, for what it does, it's absolutly a bargain... :)

Did you try one or more of the well known freebies (see one of the thousand "best free reverb" threads)? There will surely be something, that fits your needs. But if not, I think you have to afford one of the above mentioned reverbs to get happy (and you won't regret it! :) )

'Sir' is quite good for vocals, but has a latency problem. Anyway, it's free and there are a lot of impulse-responses in the net.
