Could you increase the maximum number of grains to greater than 20? I always found this a limitation with the original audiomulch contraption.

Sure, that is possible! Note that it also depends on the inter-onset-time how many grains will be played back at the same time. If you have very small IOT and long duration and increase the number of grains, you'll have very dense sound, but also a lot more CPU consumption. But I'll increase it (it's just an internal constant anyway).
By the way, do you have any particular reason why you need more than 20 grains at the same time?

Yes: the more grains the better :D

Oh me, me! I have a request! :P
what about stereo inputs, instead of mono, for the next update???

midi note input to control the pitch, with portamento option.

It's on the list.

Yes, I know, and I have other plans as well: MIDI CC control of all parameters, tempo sync, pitch bend, ...
Thanks for the feedback!

Excellent. I've been after a decent granular plugin for ages. Can't wait. For some reason there doesn't seem to be much available.

Great plugin, Koen. (Any chance of including a few presets in the final version to show off its capabilities?)

Thanks!

I will certainly do that! If any of you have some good presets, you can always send them in together with a meaningful name, and I'll see if I can put them in. (also intend to add a "randomize" thing in it so that you can just click to get a new setting).

Also, speaking of showing what's possible: for the sound examples on the web site, if any of you make some good ones and you want them to be shared, send them in (together with your full name, so I can credit you)!

hi koen
i love the plugin. one thing that would be nice would be a pause parameter (like in crusherx) to put time gaps in the signal or the quantise parameter in mulch.

any plans for other mulch like plugins?
a clone of bubble blower, pulse comb and s spat would be sweet!

thanks for the great plugin!

Great plug Koen!! Love the feedback option :) can I start doing presets from now or it's better to wait til the final version?

Thanks for the presets! There are a few good ones in there (love the "android")!
But you're probably right: I'd better wait a little until it's more final...
