I bought LS yesterday and I'm loving it! I know it is designed primarily for live performance but I want to use it for recording projects. I can't get the "record" function to work in Acid Pro 5. Is it suppose to "capture a performance" or are you supposed to record in ACID per say? I'd appreciate if anybody has some tips on how to do it in Acid.

the record function is for recording incoming audio and slice / arrange in like you do with disk loops.
If you want to record the arrangements you trigger, you need to trigger via midi and record the midi in ACID.
I have a feature planned to record triggering of arrangements and individual slices as new arrangements, but it's pretty much just on the idea stage at the moment. The plan was to, for instance, jam along with the randomize feature, record the slices as new arrangements so they can be edited afterwards.
Hope this answers your question, if not, post again.
