My favorite is ZPlane Elastique Pro which is built right into FL Studio & Zero-X BeatCreator.

I have the fact that it's not realtime, but it just sounds amazing and it's worth waiting a second for in my opinion.

I've only breifly heard Melodyne's abilities but people do rave about it.

iZotope just came out with one too but it's only for Logic. I'm sure it's awesome though if it's coming from iZotope.

elastique IS realtime (although the fl-studio application may not be - cant remember) and DOES sound excellent ... ableton use it as the basis of the timestretching / pitchshifting in live ... NI use it in the kontakt-based samplers and traktor ... and AFAIK at least one other forthcoming host / sequencer MIGHT also be using it ...

You can run a little line out line in trick with the free Elastique demo product.. http://www.zplane.de/showPage.php?SPRAC ... cts11#POS6
Or you can use vac with it..
DOnt mean to hijack but is does the stand alone elastiqe sound better than the one in FL..? Melodyne is also excelent..

There IS a realtime version of Elastique, and then there's Elastique PRO which isn't realtime but does a better job.

Demo: You cannot saved the audio to file..

Maybe, I'm not sure. I know the one in FL and Zero-X does a great job on vocals which is usually the first thing to crap out when I've stretched in Ableton (which says is using the same tech)

I noticed a difference when streching the same audio in FL and ELA.. It kind of threw me off.. While were on the subsubject dont forget to check out: élastiquePro & élastique SOLOIST V2.0..
