Hi! My first post here. Thanks alot for creating this fantastic Vst! I love the sound of it! Just one question.. Portamento and all is working fine, But how do i get legato mode? (Without the envelope retriggering)

Growing up with the C64.. i need this to do "draxish" leads! ;)

..Thanks!

I don't know how to do this myself, but have you checked the Sytrus help file?

Yes, i've read the manual, and haven't come up with a solution yet.. Legato is really essential for creating those nice "Jazz guitar" slides. But hey, this is a monster synth.. maybe i haven't looked under the right stone yet. :) Will let you know if i do.

There's no legato mode in Sytrus VSTi/DXi.
However the FL version has one (it actually doesn't, but FL does for it, and the VSTi specs don't allow such a trick)

Maybe in an update? I don't personally care about Legato too much but it seems like a lot of people really like having the option in their synths.

Oh yes.. as far as i'm concerned this is the only thing that the Sytrus Vsti is lacking. Please, Gol (I know that you're a C64 freak) let us have a legato mode to do those nice Drax slides ;) otherwise.. this is my dream Vsti, the filters are killers!

How does a synth do legato? I thought that was up to the piano roll articulation?

Do you mean monophonic? There's a button for that.

Otherwise, I suppose you could set the polyphony to 1, and set a long release for the sound. It should cut out with each new note.. but I don't think that would sound like you want. I would just use the piano roll (if you have FL, there's a legato articulator to help)

he's talking about the VSTi. Because yes in FL it's FL itself that does the mono mode.
