worked with the newest beta...its a gift.
its working much better ...the intuitQ works like a dream now.
the newest feature is intuit match.
thats what i was looking for...it works like charm.
apply your reference to your track.
other useful features too....
did it with a song from michael buble-home(i'm singing)
here is the cubase rendered file:
http://www.drumgrooves.de/HomeCubaseTomFein.mp3
here is the matched version with bubles song as reference:
http://www.drumgrooves.de/HomeHarbalTomFein.mp3
to my ears the harbal version sounds like pro...
what do you think?

I've not used the beta yet. What you have sounds a bit more polished than the first track to my ears but not a giant difference. Nice vocals. Out of curiosity, do you sing demos for songwriters?

What's Intuit Match?
tomgadd, your mix is already very clean and polished. You hardly need HarBal! But it is adding some clarity in the upper range. Sounds great!

Subtle, yet distinct. Har-Bal is like a fine polish to an already good-sounding track.

Tom, my wife and I are HUGE fans of that song. And I think you nailed it pretty well even in the first one. TBH, the second one wasn't that much different. But you did the mix very well and it sounded good already.
What mic(s) did you use, or the rest of your setup, just for curiosity?

HarBal 2.2 is a great improvement to 2.0. Many more features like the ones already mentioned. Great tutorial too.
Sure the differences applied to mixes with HarBal are subtle but in the end very noticable across various pieces of equipment. I can't live without it anymore

thanks for your kind words about nailing...
i've used a lowprice mic for voice( behringer b1),
recorded in cubase using trilogy for bass, atmosphere for strings, realguitar, Hyper Canvas and artist drums for drums.solo guitar was played by ingmar winkler.
used PrincetonDigital for reverb, some Kjaerhus plugs for compressing.

It hasn't expired yet and they are preparing to send out the final version soon . My beta arrived in an email last week even though I hadn't asked to beta test . I'm happy they sent it as gave me a chance to try out the new features . It certainly is a great tool and Paavo and Earle provide excellent support either in the forum or by email.Jason Brian Merrill wrote:question, does this beta expire?
