Where in Cubase is the setting for audio vs visual CPU usage

I came across an optino one time, can't find it anymore, that was for setting how you want the CPU to react when it has to share visual information (transport, sequencer, vst editor GUI) and the audio engine or something. Can anyone help me out? When I have a lot of vst editor GUIs open, cubase goes crazy. Once again, Cubase proves itself to be a piece of crap.
