Anyone need free guitar sample sets?

I'm wondering this because I currently have a set of guitar samples, both electric and acoustic, that have been "donated" to Sample Torrents. Let's just say that they will be "exclusive" for a while.
But for the purpose of giving people what they want, what is ONE thing that you would like in a FREE guitar sample set that maybe you haven't got or is just essential. This will help the developments come along, and help those recording it to add what people want.
Also, this library will be a constantly growing one, not static. The samples will be available early on at Sample Torrents, then as the library grows, it will be a paid library, but at a VERY reasonable price, cheaper then any other I've personally seen.
But before that happens, the engineers are open to ideas. So I'm asking! Some of what you suggest may already be in there, some may not.
Cheers!

Well, it looks like the original format will be probably Kontakt, then soundfonts. I'm open to people offering to translate it.
By the way, this will be more one shot multi-samples then it will be loops. Not that there won't be any loops, but for now, it will be a REAL multi-sample library.
I will reveal more when I'm allowed to. Who knows, it may turn out that nobody can use it. But I hope so.

Well, from what I understand, this library is supposed to be pretty dynamic. Stuff like having hammer-ons at high velocities so you can trigger them in real time. Also, a series of strums, including power chords, are there.
Also, this isn't the top priority of the creators. So there is no immediate timeframe, more like a personal project that I have a vested interest in.
The recording of chords hasn't started yet(well, for the most part) and so if you have a chords feature you think is always left out, let me know.
One thing that is being done is having partial strums on the acoustic. When there are strumming patterns, you don't hit the exact same strum every time. You miss a string sometimes, whether on purpose or not. So there will be random strums to be hit. The mapping for this is still being discussed, so any ideas are welcome.

Hmmm, maybe I need to change the title? I think people may be expecting a free download. Or is it that nobody really wants this? Just curious.

That isn't the same thing I'm talking about. No offense, but why post it here? I'm talking about a full multisampled guitar, not any loops or phrases.Barf wrote:Here's your free download:
