I've bought padKontrol and the MDE-X multiFX that comes with it
is rather good-sounding.

the mde-x also comes with the legacy collections. well, definitely with the ms-20 collection, but afaik also with the digital edition.
i do like some of them, but i hate that the interface is so fiddly...

Thought that the Legacy collections were demo, while the mde-x was the full free version...I'll have to check. Anyway, bummer about the CKP 1 version...hope they get that sorted for you soon. Also hope you're enjoying the surprising delight in playing/enhancing pads with pads...in addition to the more traditional-ish percussive capabilities. Holy crap, this thing with my 49-key UF...be on the look-out for recent posts (buried in rondom threads) on the padKONTROL and the TriggerFinger regarding some very creative technique. Interesting stuff...
