any thoughts on decent vst midi step sequencers.

I know of sonicbytes-ERA. it looks very promising. Energy XT seams to do more than i need.

One more; any recommendation on decent Reaktor ensembles that function well as a step sequencers (with MIDI-Out build in). I get the sense there is very little good step sequencing for Reaktor - that is of course step sequencers that route their midi signal out of their own ensemble

Any thoughts?

cheers.

WRONG!

There's several in the R5 library, and James Walker-Hall has an excellent one in the (possiblly unavialable) Studio bundle. You can take virtually any of Reaktor's step sequencers and enable them to send midi to any other instrument and/or VST/external hardware..

What about FL Studio? It's available as a VST and you can download a trial version for free. If you only need the step squencer you can get the basic version for $49.

there's a ton of sequencers in the Reaktor library folder that you could probably customize to do just about anything...

the way is not a religious or political statement
