I truly hate their confusing website.
I wanted to download the phase linear eq and multiband compressor. I log in, go to download section, downloaded the masters bundle that the plugins are in and when I try and launch the plugin,it tells me I'm not authorized to use it.
I called them once and told them their site was the most poorly constructed site in the world and they said they were redesigning the whole site. That was over a year ago.

What do you mean you're trying to download them? To do what? You looking for a demo? I'm not even sure there are demos. You looking for an update for the plugins you already purchased? Your intentions aren't clear enough. Please elaborate.

Thanks alot for your response. I'l check the ilok site and see if they are. I already have an account there.beej wrote:Don't forget you'll need to have an iLok to demo the software, and I think you register and get a demo authorisation for your iLok. I'm sure all this info is on their website though. Lemme go looksee...

No, since they moved over exclusively to iLok (no more disk authorisation), I'm pretty sure that like other iLokked products, you need an iLok and a demo authorisation to run it.
I have a feeling that you run the Waves authorizer tool in the Waves folder, and it gives you an option there to demo, but I'm not sure (I still have my Waves stuff disk authorised at the moment and I'm trying to hold off going to iLok as long as possible, I have enough dongles already...)
BTW I agree with you about the Waves site, it is a bit of a logistical mess...

Let me ask something... if you use an ilok to run a demo... that's it isn't it... no more demos... you can't re-run the demo in any other way can you?
