Hi all, this is my first post here so I hope someone can help. Ive just watched a DVD of the making of the album "Whos Next" by The Who, and theres an interesting bit in it where Pete Townshend is describing how he got the trademark organ sound for the album. He said he put the organ through a synth (looked like an Arp 2600) and used a sample and hold filter? with a phase effect to get the sound. I have NI's B4 and wondered if there is a VST effect I could use to get the same effect. Hope someone can help.
Regards, Graeme.

Bones has a pretty good gate I use lot, combine that with supaphaser and some delay and you could get pretty close. Give me a bit of time and I'll hunt some url's for you.

just add a phaser.
if you want an effect to do all 3 , look at electronisounds ubergate (shameless plug - I coded ubergate for electronisounds

I've read that it was done on an ARP 2600, and I've read that it was peformed live on an organ. Might've been Antares Autotune for all I know. ;-) One of my all-time favorite riffs -- good luck with it!
