I've just recently (last few months) discovered URS plug-ins. I don't own any as they are fairly expensive but I was curious as to who has used them for longer than a demo period.
Are they great (not good but great)? How's the CPU usage? What's the deal with so many EQ's in one bundle; you have the BLT, the A-Series, N-Series, S-Series and the FullTec Program EQ. I understand why you would need different types of EQ but what specifically differentiates each series from the other (I k now the BLT is a "mere" 2 band EQ and the others are more surgical in nature but other than that what sets them apart)?
Those who use them; are they worth the money and are you happy? Are there alternatives you have that you like better on the whole or something you wish you would have gotten instead?
Lot's of questions, sorry. I just haven't seen many people talking about them so I want to know who is using them and how they are working out. Thanks.

URS is very good but it's too expensive and it uses Pace iLock so it's a no go for me.
Instead I choose a combination of UAD and Kjaerhus plugs:

Actually, they're not that bad; take the URS Classic Console EQ Bundle: $349/Four EQ's = $87.25 per EQ. And get this: they've started a rent-to-own policy. I know some people don't like them (iLok doesn't help), but I think they're the cream of the crop, amongst the very best. I can't imagine anyone not being happy with the S-MIX EQ. Hell, the BLT is worth the $50 (it's on special this month)!
So basically, I'm a fanboy. They're light as hell on CPU. The only other EQ's I can think of that have this light a fingerprint but with the same level of quality are Sonalksis SV-517, and my personal favourite, AirEQ. Both are really expensive, though.
