really nice looking. can't demo them though. any users here who can comment on their experience with them? i'm assuming if i were to buy ronin, dubstation would be redundant, no?

Just buy 'em, and if you don't like them you get a refund!

I just bought Dubstation and Reverence last week, and I am really, really impressed with the quality of these plugs. And yes, they're great to look at, too.

i have dubstation, reverance, 914 and deverb....i am in love with all of them...i am so in love I want to eventually own all the plugs...i use them standard!

dubstation is just what I wanted, like an old analog delay, good stuff. I got 914 and reverance and keep thinking I need the other ones even though I'm trying to cut back on my plugs.

the ad plugs are simple plugs that do one thing well. I use them all the time, more than I thought I would.

ronin of course is the exception, but I thought there was a demo of that. are you sure there's not? I used one.

There is actually a demo of Ronin. It's the only one. Coincidentally, it's the only one I'd consider buying, if I weren't so strapped for cash.

Theres a Demo from Ronin. Also, dont miss out on Phase 2 its a terrific phaser. I love it. DubStation followed by Phase 2 or vice versa is pretty much my go to effects chain.

I have both, but use Dubstation way more, on almost every track I do these days. I actually got Dubstation on a bit of a lark, since I already had Ronin, but I find that the filtering is sufficiently different that it is difficult to set Ronin up to sound exactly like Dubstation. You could probably get close.

Of the two, Ronin is much more versatile and can be used for a lot of other things than just a delay (distortion, filtering, tremolo, autopanner, chorus, 8-second looper). It's a great all-rounder, but I probably don't make use of its full potential like I used to. Ronin is in the decks to get a slight bit of an overhaul (I'd guess some time in the next year), which would be good because it could probably benefit from some of the tricks AD has learned along the way since they put it out (especially optimizing its code to run a bit more efficiently).

Dubstation has a fairly limited range, but it has a great sound right away. Ronin has a great sound, but it takes more work to get it to sound the way you want. If you just want the Dubstation delay sound, I wouldn't get Ronin. If you love to play around with modular routing and want to be able to use one plugin to do a lot of stuff, Ronin is a good way to go.
