Looking for a plugin that will allow me to do some background processing while using my host to play and arrange the audio. Its been said that there are some plugins that will allow you to stream audio from one app to another but as far as I can tell non of them work properly or there are some compatibility issues.

What gets me is that theres plugins that allow you to stream over the net and I guess I could use one of these to stream to another computer on my network but why do I have to go to these lengths just to get audio over in my other vst host? Strange..

Wormhole and FX Teleport are the two main ones.
If you're on Mac, the AUNetSend and AUNetReceive plugins are part of the (Tiger) OS...
