I need to have a keyboard where I can import my own samples into for live use.

Depends what you want to do.
There's lots of options out on a computer like ableton live and many specialty controllers just for it. You can always use a software sampler like kontakt, direct wave, short circuit , etc....and just load the samples you want to use to be triggered via midi.
Another option would be to get a sampler like a MPC. The MPC 1000's are priced fairly decent for what they do and will do about everything you need without a computer.

What sort of samples? Multi-sampled instruments, drum hits or what? If its teh former you need to get a sampler but if its for other stuff something like an AKAI MPC thingie might be better.

If you mean a hardware keyboard that you can import your own multisamples into, there's a couple of options:
- Alexis Fusion
- MIDI controller + Receptor + (some sampler)
IIRC there are also sampling options available for Korg, Roland and/or Yamaha's flagship keyboards.

I am really considering Receptor but its expensive for me and I really need to make sure that is what I want. They have these set up at guitar center dont they? I need to go and try it out.
