@barbed wire kiss ... dunno what it's called but i do know Darren bought it in The Medina in Tunis, Tunisia in 2003 ... it cost £6

you're right there ... seems everything costs more in the UK. I recently bought a melodica from the states for $40 .. the cheapest price i could find over here was £75 for exactly the same thing

The UK is notorious for it's high prices over here on the continent

Even everyday commodities and groceries seem to cost more.

the most annoying thing is the VAT tax rate in the UK ... we pay an extra 17.5% for everything we buy. I just bought Firebird in the Tone 2 group buy, and i got charged VAT on top, because i paid by bank transfer ... I should have used the send cash in the post option

I was thinking more of people importing goods that are very cheap in the original country, and then selling it on with a large mark up because of it's ethnic fashion value.
