60s a GoGo from ueberschall.com
but it's not a library, it's a VSTi based on the Elastik loop player

when i think of "swinging 60's" i think of quincy Jones, he did that tune "Soul Bossanova" from austin Powers...one of the things he did, along with guys like Esquavil, was the unusual voicings, combinations of instruments..like playing a line with stings and orchestral bells, answering it with a low horn blast, stuff like that...along with a "swinging beat" and tasty verb..i'd get any of "Q's" records from the 60's and study, you can get lots of those sounds from a good orchestral library and experimentation...

Chuck wassup thanx for that info.. The funny thing is I have a vast collection of swingin grooves that IMO outswing Q's sound (not by too far tho)(maybe their emulators of Q?).. This is not the problem.. The thing is that the a Library will allow me to get the grooves I want while giving me the modernized eq bandwidth I need.. In this era of musical mashups, I would like to mix elements of this sound in with other styles.. I it's not a lazy thing, its just a time constraint mostly..

Good sample CDs- "Love and Pop String Thing" from PowerFX, and especially "easy listening" from ueberschall. If the ueberschall "easy listening" CD is an example of what you might get on 60s a GoGo, that would be an excellent bet.

I know that sounds pretty hippy but it is very 'Austin' groovy if I remember correctly, what I meant was 'The Love And Pop String Thing' from powerfx which someone else already mentioned.Lagrange wrote:Oh Its not the hippy sound it's that groovy sound im looking for..

It may be a bit too Lounge for your needs, but probably worth a look.
