My question is:
How do I change the tempo within a project? In Cubase SX that is.
For example, the first 3 minutes are in 4/4 120 bmp, and the second part is in 7/8 140 bpm.
And yes, I write prog music.
Thanks!

You've just reminded me why I don't visit this place hardly anymore.
The manual is rather vague about it. Or maybe I'm to stupid to understand.
Yeah, that's probably it.
Nevermind. Just forget I asked.
glad to be of help. let me know if it actually works!RWA wrote:You see how Cubase sucks at this?!?!?!?!![]()

Thanks to you another epic sees the light of day.
I will include you in the credits for our second album.
I've never tried these directions myself until last night, and had a little trouble figuring out the time sig according to the directions. But when I discovered it, it's dead easy. Heres a picRWA wrote:I've got the tempo track added and the tempo curve changed at the right location.
So the tempo changes to where I want it to go at the cursor location.
So far so good.
I can't figure out yet how to change the time signature at that position.
I'll be back.
Thanks so far.
