So, what you think, wich audio editor uses Autechre, Squarepusher and other similar profile artists?:). I know that this is a very stupid question, but it's very interesting to me.

they make most of those cuts and breaks manually or with software they have designed themselves (autehcre, aphex..) Reaktor has some serious possibilities, check out exile at the NI site, has this crazy video he is playing live.Anyway, there are lots of different ways to do almost the same thing...
Ableton Live has a built in plug-in called beat repeat, really cool if you combine this with other fx.anywayzz...

That Video is what got me Excited about Reaktor a year ago! Beat Repeat is cool but Inconsistently cool.... I normally let it run for a while... Render as Audio and then use a Wave Editor to Pick out the good parts.

You can automate beat repeat so you can get it to do what you want. If you put a few in a parallel with the new racks or in serial, you can make a serious mash-up.

Just let the variation button to 0 and beat repeat won't do any random stuff. So you can pretty much control it's behavior to 100%.
