You can use it that way already. I don't think I've ever used the SS2 plug-in except to try it out once or twice. Now I just load the SS sounds in ST and get more control.

Yes, you can. In fact, there is a new 'ala carte" style instrument section that has a lot of Sonik Synth sounds there to download individually, including sounds that came from the original Sonic Synth 1. We will be updating the instruments section to also include NEW ST format instruments (including previously unreleased) as well as other formats such as SFZ, Kontakt, HALion, EXS and more.zai wrote:If you have SS2...yes, you can use it in ST. I think you can download some of SS2's soundsets from eSoundz's website. I'm not 100% sure.

What I meant was a sound library a la the ExpansionTank series but with sounds from the SS2 package - I don't feel like paying for the entire SS2 package only to use (some of) the sounds. Above all, I am interested in SS2's vintage synths (those that come with SS2 Free sound great so I'd like to have more of them). I don't need any winds, pianos, epianos, harpsichords and the like.
Squids: I've been browsing through the downloadable instruments at esoundz but didn't find what I was looking for. Apart from the vintage synths I've mentioned above, I'm particularly missing IMAPped drumkits.

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!

We're going to be adding practically every sound you can think of to the downloadable sound section so keep checking back! We can also start a downloadable sound request thread at some point as well.trixie wrote:What I meant was a sound library a la the ExpansionTank series but with sounds from the SS2 package - I don't feel like paying for the entire SS2 package only to use (some of) the sounds.
