The online shops work usually, or your local distributor.
You can start here

thanks alot!!! It's been a while since I updated a Steinberg product. Do they ever offer a special price if you order early? Do stores sell the Upgrades. It seem I can only order online, is that correct?

$199 isn't too bad either, looking forward to this upgrade, SX3 was a bit of a sleeper.
$999 for the full version now!
wow
i got in cheap in the early days, and even used a crossgrade at the time

Chances are that prices raise on 1st January again, as happened with the last crossgrades and upgrades. For example the VST->SX3 way, which I took, was only available till mid December, while the SX3 upgrade was first 99Euro and then later raises once again, too.
Still is an expensive purchase if you look at it - we're not even know if it's adjusted yet or not ("too much cream than fruits").
However if you're in germany, you should upgrade BEFORE Steinberg decides to raise the VAT from 16% to 19% and making the upgrade even more expensive to still cover the minimum income they get. It's all about financials and marketing.
