This one is much better than the first I've attempted in this style, but it's still not pure DnB. I think it's almost there in terms of ideas. I'm considering experimenting with Volcano (a filter) on the acoustic guitar part but I'm totally out of CPU at the moment and just wanted to mix this down and hear it without glitches. :D

I'm so tired of running out of CPU. Someone please mail me a free Receptor so I can finish this. :hihi: :help:

some very cool sounds in there Shane, love the guitar and the growly parts. For D&B though, I would suggest the drums need to be a bit beefier. enjoyed this one

I like your very Shaney version of DnB.

Nothing I love more than exploration of a form with a genuine personal twist. Though a agree that the drums are a tad too lost in the depth of field.

Didn't have you down as the dnb type Shane!

The beginning put me straight into a negative frame of mind but soon that was quashed. On my second listen and there is something really unique about this, mixing dnb, little moments of rock and more melodic elements.

As has been said, need to fatten those drums up a lot, and maybe use a more interesting bass synth.

CPU, happens to us all, mixing/freezing is good and also helps you finish tunes by stopping you messing around with silyy details too much!

Thanks for the feeback guys, I really appreciate it. I'll definitely tackle these problems over the weekend, so bookmark the thread for an updated version of the tune.

As for remixes, what would I need to provide? I use FL Studio, so I could render each track to it's own wave, but probably wouldn't have the time to go in and reset each channel to output a maxxed out file. But I could render to 32bit, so it might not really be an issue.

Render each track to wav would be ideal for me.

Don't wory about levels etc. If that's what you meant by maxed out file. Just go as the are
