This is a big one. I've split the 24 44 wavs into 7 zip files. They are not a solid archive or whatever. You can dl any single zip and get the samples out of that file. My naming is scheme for these is totally arbitrary and for the most part unhelpful in identifying the content. I got bored. These were done with 2 CAD e300s and the mic preamps on the emu 1616m. My next sample project will be lugging my gear (all 2 thousand dollars worth) to the beach and sampling the sand. It just doesn't sound the same after you bring it home. Oh and I'm making a demo tune for these, but that won't be done for weeks.

----Hey, glad you stopped back by, hadn't seen ya post in here lately
Did I by any chance miss the automatic garage door opening/closing samples, or did those just not happen yet ? I'm downloading these now, (slow normal dsl), so I'll havta come back later to comment on them. Thanks regardless, new samples are always fun to check out

I've got 4 samples of the garage on my laptop. I'll post them for you sometimes this week. I think you'll really like the samples above. They are pretty nice, if I do say so myself.

----Right on, I'm totally looking forward to themGenetic_Junk wrote:I've got 4 samples of the garage on my laptop. I'll post them for you sometimes this week. I think you'll really like the samples above. They are pretty nice, if I do say so myself.
----And wow, 1) that's quite a collection you just dropped there, and 2) I can just sense your boredom in a way ha-ha
----Cool stuff though really, you might sort of label each pack with a few notes, like one sentence to explain what's in it. If ya have time, it might save some bandwidth since I doubt any but the hardKore smaple junkie would really need/want all of them. Just an idea

I recorded nonstop for about an hour, and then spent about two hours cutting them all up. I know some notes in each pack would be helpful, maybe if I have some extra time this weekend. I really would rather be out sampling though. The cutting process is kind of fun too. The labeling and describing are so boring for me.
If only a couple people dl the packs, no big deal. We've got recycle and Stylus RMX at the school, and I've rexed and converted about twenty loops into RMX format. I might release those when I have about fifty done.
Thanks for checking them out Jeff. I hope they are useful for you.

----I can understand the labelling being a hassle, it was just an idea to save you some bandwidth if that was an issue. I don't need the labels myself, I just dump all your stuff into one folder, and cut it down and re-label it later
----For anybody doing "industrial" style tracks, the copier sounds are a must have, soooo stereo
There's tons of other goodies, and some head scratchers in there too, good stuff though, super high quality, if not maybe a little weird in content

Oh, my bandwidth. I though you meant the downloader's bandwidth. No, I don't have to worry about going over mine. I've got a Terabyte a month and I rarely go over 10 gigs a month. Download to your heart's content; repost the direct links wherever you want. If it looks like I'm going to go over, I'll just block the files and unblock them the next month.
I think I'll just make 50 loops in wav format that sync to different bpms, label and upload.
I like weird stuff. Thanks for the compliments Jeff.
