Hi all, hope someone can advise. I have done a piano part for a full song. This is in different events for verse/chorus etc. What I have noticed is that some parts - say the verse - are a lot louder as a whole than other parts. What I want to do is balance the whole
piano part. I can use the midi/velocity option to turn down or raise certain bits of the piano piece but, as I said I want the whole part to have a single peak.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Compressor? If the imbalance is relative, that is

Otherwise just use mixer automation - switch on the "W" button in the mixer, move the fader while the track is playing, and when you're done, turn off the "W" and turn on the "R".
Three shall be the number of the counting

And the number of the counting shall be three.

No, compressor no good as imbalance aint relative.

Automation? Bit messy that. Cant help think there must be some logical editing way to do it?

Any advanced sx users around?
