when sample changes pitch the loop playes faster

I use reason and ableton's simpler for sampling. When I set it to loop, the loop playes faster as it goes up in octive. Is there a way to play the loop the same length as the tone is moved up.
This may be some warping feature or something, but I can't seem to figure it out.

welpers. When I play a higher note, the tone is moved up and the loop is played faster. I just want the tone moved up without the loop playing faster on the sample.
Playing with the pitch knob just changes the base sample, it does not give me a longer loop with the pitch raised.

Load the loop into a slot in Live ... NOT in the sampler, then you can use the pitch control to get the tuning you require. The loop will still play back at the same tempo.foxjazz wrote:I use reason and ableton's simpler for sampling. When I set it to loop, the loop playes faster as it goes up in octive.
