What's your favorite vocoder VST?
I have lots of them but I never found one that could really blow my mind of being so cool.

Pick up a 2nd hand Korg Microkorg. It will cost you less than Vokator, and it has a kick ass vocoder, plus you'll get a free hardware synth attached

Best Vocoder? My Roland VP-330, or the Roland SVC-350 I used to have
Best software vocoder I heard so far is Prosoniq Orange Vocoder.
The Fruty Loops Vocoder and the one in Reason are also quite good.
Some effects processing (chorus for example) sometimes can do wonder
if you are after the fat electro vocoder sound of the 80's

I was all stiff about Vokator until I tried it. I guess I was looking for more a classic sound. I've tried every software vocoder I could find (even non-VST), and of all them, only the Fruity Vocoder that comes with FL Studio really was worth being excited about.
And that's why I'm working on my own vocoder for the NOVUZEIT line.

Seconded! If it were stereo it would be the best vocoder ever.JackDark wrote:I've tried every software vocoder I could find (even non-VST), and of all them, only the Fruity Vocoder that comes with FL Studio really was worth being excited about.

Mind that you have to open the GUI, otherwise it will not work.
