Yet another wizard has been created! I took Alessandro Gallo's VS2003 version and converted it to 2.4/VS2005. Alex kindly reviewed it out (I'm new at this) and has hosted it on his website

Feel free to fiddle with the default.js and HTML code in the wizard if you are interested in learning how to make wizards in VS2005.

Hello,

I tried it with VS 2005 "Express" but it won't see the Wizard. Does the wizard only work with the proper version of VS2005?

I'm not 100% sure that it will work with the Express version, however if you have .vsz files somewhere in your installation, and you have installed the files as directed it should work. Wissen Sie dass Sie die Professional Ausgabe download koennen? Nuer fuer Deutschland glaube ich. Suchen Sie KVR fuer diese Meldung.

It seems that Express does not support wizzards actually. Ja kenne ich in dem freien Standard VS2005 aus, aber mein Deutsch ist nicht guter der.

i also just tried to use the wizard with vs2005 express, but unfortunately it didn't work. has anybody a wizard for the express solution? und was ist mit der Professional Ausgabe? ich habe dazu keine infos gefunden. weiss da jemand mehr?

I think Express does support Wizards. There's a Wizards directory.

Hi Tobias
It looks as if it is not possible to use the wizard in VS2005 express, although as someone mentioned there ARE wizards in this edition perhaps its possible somehow (google it?). The key to solving this is to see where .vsz and .vsdir files go...from there you may be able to trace the locations for the template files themselves.

Re the Professional Ausgabe, I couldn't find the link in KVR anymore, but in October 2006, Microsoft Germany was offering a free VS2005 professional download to anyone who sat through their online movie/advertisement and answered a few questions. I can't find it on microsoft.de (vielleicht mein deutsch nicht gut ist??) so the offer may have ended. Good luck with it

i downloaded this wiz and will test under express and Vs2005...i should be able to download some Virtual PC images containing VS2005 Full...the problem is that i don't understand much in C++
