Looking for a VST Drum Editor for Tracktion

I'm looking for a free or cheap drum editor for Tracktion. Im aware of Stepbeater and Stepchild and would like something like this but with the option to freely move notes instead of being constrained by a particular amount of beats in a bar. Also I need to be able to rename the drum channels so I can see at a glance what note triggers what particular part of the drum setup. Effectively i'm looking for something like the Cubase Drum Editor but in VST format.

It looks like the midi is tied by certain time constraints. Certainly the majority of my beats will be quantised to a certain time signature but I need the option to move some of them freely. Also Phrazer seems to offer too much and I'm really after as simple a solution as possible although it does look quite cool for other things. I'll think I'll keep an eye on it for the future

you can free the phrazor drum grid with one click from fixed grid snapping, no prob. There is also some MIDI humanization available for velocity and timing. arranging patterns to a song is really simple drag and drop.... to phrazors internal arranger or directly to the hosts arranger window.

another important point for me is the phrazor preset mgmt and routing possibilities. Especially with multi-output drum VSTi you can store complex routings for single outputs or busses (eg. tom groups) complete effect chains and even the whole drum mix. For me that means easy reuse of the whole drum group just by inserting one vsti.

One of the nice things about Phrazor is that it enables you to easily built a quickly retrievable library of MIDI grooves as building blocks.

Actually the more I play with it the cooler it gets and its just about in the impulse buy price range for me. It does everything I wanted and a whole lot more. Mmmm, very tempting.
