For me personally, they're best known for providing sampled material for Sonic Reality products, but they also undertake sound design work for products from companies such as Alesis, Creamware and Steinberg.
A current product that they have been developing for some time now has been Ethnotronics - a strong collection of ethnic instruments in both WusikEngine and Halion formats.
Recently a full instrument listing was produced for potential customers in the forum here on KvR and it was noted that an accoustic rendition of the Sitar was missing. When asked about this, the reply was as follows:
I asked permission to quote this in this forum as a well-deserved compliment to Manytone for the creation of a product that is not only appreciated by a general user base, but lauded by a peer sample production and sound design company.Yes, there is no Sitar in the list. We know the Manytone Sitar and their sample is defenitly the best we ever heard. So we decided to remove the Sitar from our to-do list.
Congratulations Paul and Co.
