Hi i have been trying to get into using compressors but have found that im getting very confused. i keep on reading articles on how to use compression but the same problem keeps on coming up. When i turn the ratio from 2-1 to 10-1 and the threshold down to any -Dbs the sound seems to get louder and this just doesnt make sense to me could som1 please explain. im using the Gco compressor

disable the "auto gain" feature and it should as you expect it to
