Thanks!! That does just what I wanted.

Each slider controls the level each harmonic

Strange he didn't include the DC filter from poshifopit to filter out the extra post DC. A gain knob would've been nice too for a|b.

But it's a quick freebie so I'm not complaining.

this thing only work with a sine with the level of 1.0 (0dB). it doesn't work with any other signals, the whole concept is an error.

If you can explain in more detail maybe Christian can fix you up when he gets back. I've tried it on audio it seems to work as described in that case. What's the beef? Or where's the beef...or whatever. :D

I use it on kicks, Bassline, and snares that are all far cries from a single sine wave. Christortion is GREAT

As far as i know it's based on chebychev polynomials, so the specified harmonic relationships are only correct for single sinusoids at an amplitude of 1.

Of course this doesn't mean it isn't useful for other signals...

Yeah, the partials don't sound much like harmonics of the original alone, but it sounds like what it is described as when everything is played together.

Maybe the best way to do is still to filter distortion and blend it with the original.
