What is you host ?
Be aware that Toxic III is VST only!!
So if your host is AU only, you're in trouble..
the demo work great in LIVE 6 on my macbook pro..........
I think i'll buy it next month..
Cheers

Please note that the price will go up to $99 as soon as I get to changing it in the shop.

It's not that I'm looking for a quick $59 here but I'd like to avoid you'd feel screwed.

This really is our first effort on OSX. We'll see how it works
out and see what we can do with/about it in the future.

Well, I would like to use it, but I have Mac Book Pro and Logic so I guess there is no way of using a VST without purchasing FXpansion's 'VST to AU Adapter 2' which would be another £55 on top of Toxic III. All the other plugins I have are AU so I would have no other need for the adapter.

So here's hoping for an AU version soon.

Pretty useless as a vsti on the mac.

Well I don't have my Macbook yet (just waiting for the merom updates), but I won't be using Logic, to a VST version is perfect for me. :hyper:

It works fine in Live. We'll see how many requests
for AudioUnits we get (and how hard it is to do an
AudioUnit version or license a AU2VSTi wrapper).

If you want to make a dent in the Mac market I would suggest RTAS or AU. Awsome plug, My studio assistant has it on his pc and I would glady buy it but we use Protoos and Logic like most of the professional market.

Great synth with GREAT sounds!!!! but no AU is a no no for Mac owners, most of the Mac and Logic users are professional producers.

Do you want their money and mine? make a AU version.

It's true that most mac hosts don't support vst... the only one that supports vst exclusively is cubase, i think.

There is an advantage to offering a VST though, which is that VSTs can be wrapped as RTAS plugins for use in PT LE/TDM and as AU for use in Logic, DP, etc whereas the other formats can't be wrapped.

In any case, I'm glad to see that you guys are putting out an OS X version... I've seen a lot of talk about Toxic III on the boards here and never knew what it was, so I'll go check out the demo.... Hope to see more mac ports in the future too! :)
