Hi
My host is Project 5 - it's perfect for me - it's only down fall is that the patterns you create can't be exported as a *.MID midi file (only as special p5 pattern files - my AKAI MPC1000 can't read these).
If anyone knows of a work-around or can recomend a host that will let you export patterns as *.MID midi file please post your suggestion.
Thanks
Phil

Bit of a faff but could you load the VST version of energyXT into Project 5 and record the MIDI into the eXT sequencer from where you could then export a MIDI file? If you don't have eXT then the demo would surfice for this but its such a useful application and so cheap its well worth splashing out on
Bet you could probably do it with Phrazor as well.

You can install MidiYoke: a virtual midi cable. Assign the midi output of Project5 to MidiYoke and record the MidiYoke data stream in another program.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
