FX Teleport and dongled synths

I have a few dongled synths on my laptop and want to integrate them into my main DAW when at home. These include Arturia Prophet V, NI KORE and Hartman Neuron (the last 2 not exactly dongled I know but effectively the same thing in this context). I was thinking of trying FX Teleport but wondered if it works with dongled VST's - I suppose it depends on whether it needs a copy of the VST on both machines or just one, not sure how it works in that respect.

It work, if you have the plugin installed (and dongle attached) on the client machine. of course, you can't run the plug simultaneously on both server and client machine with only 1 dongle...

Well I presume it doesn't need to run on both at the same time as that would defeat the object but I was wondering if having the dongle would interfere with thr operation of Teleport, or if it would cause a problem with the license for that matter?Midi_Glider wrote:It work, if you have the plugin installed (and dongle attached) on the client machine. of course, you can't run the plug simultaneously on both server and client machine with only 1 dongle...

No. once a plug-in is launched via the FXteleport wrapper, it looks for the proper license\authorization it needs on the local client machine (i.e. not searching through the network). so, running a dongled teleported plug-in should be just as hassle free as running the same plug on your main rig.
