few question on liveslice

hi,

i'm using LiveSlice since few days and im learning every day. However i need to know wheter it is possible to do few things that may be fundamental for my way of working.

1) when i press C1 on my midi keyboard the loop starts to play. If now i rapidly re-press the key, the loop will not start from the beginnig but continuing the 'loop'. Is it possible to set that allowing me to always play the loop from the beginning? ( more or less like akai mpc)

2) I'm experiencing a problem with recorded loop. The first beat is always situated at the middle of the 'track'. What i'm doing wrong?

I know that i have other questions, but with the effort to be clear to you, i forgot some. Hope you understand my questions, and sorry for mistakes.

I found the solution for question one, actually it was quite simple.

1.) although you found it for yourself, others might ask what it is - on the settings page just activate "Manual sync"

2.) when you get the recording options you should activate the "sync" button, that should set LS to record on the first beat. if it doesn't, it might be that the host you are using doesn't send appropriate timing info needed for that function (e.g. eXT in the main view).
sometimes it also helps to switch off delay compensation in your host (at least it helps in live 5/6) - check your hosts manual if you don't know what i mean.
